Staff and residents at Carrickfergus Manor nursing and residential care home have been super busy preparing for the festive season.
The whole building has been transformed into a winter wonderland with a range of visual and tactile decorating to celebrate the festive season.
The hallways have been decked with lights, cheeky elves and a range of visual delights to celebrate the festive season.
Home Manager, Ildiko Tokes, said “Christmas is a time for family, and that’s what we are, one big family. Our residents have all played a part in the decorating of their home which compliments our culture of togetherness and laughter.”
Gavin O’Hare-Connolly Chief Executive at Kathryn Homes Group said: “Carrickfergus Manor have encapsulated the values and ethos of our group - the home looks beautiful, and residents are excitedly keen to show visitors the many areas of the home now transformed. Working together is our core value, and this home demonstrates this beautifully.”
Residents, staff and family members have all played a crucial part in the festive preparations and will enjoy Christmas parties, educational evenings and fun games throughout December.
We may even see a visit from the big man himself.
