On Friday the 20th of October, Magherafelt Manor care home in Magherafelt, organised a successful table quiz fundraising event held at the Terrace Hotel in Magherafelt. The event was organised by Well-Being Leads, Eilish McKenna and Helen Caskey. The money raised is important in helping the home deliver high quality activities and will aid in creating meaningful moments for all the residents.
In the weeks leading up to the event, Eilish and Helen approached local businesses, successfully securing 36 raffle prize donations. The table quiz attracted overwhelming support from residents, their families, friends, and dedicated staff members.
The event successfully achieved an impressive total of £2,770 for the residents' comfort fund. The funds will be crucial in assisting the well-being leads as they work towards providing residents with high-quality, person-centered activities aimed at encouraging joy, and enrichment in their lives.
