Orchard Lodge, part of theKathryn Homes group in Armagh recently delighted their residents with acaptivating Orient Express-themed event titled "Orient Express!" Theevent, which took place on the 2nd of July, brought together residents from allunits of the home for an afternoon filled with imagination and camaraderie.
Residentseagerly gathered as one of their own distributed train tickets, initiating avirtual journey through Germany, France, and London aboard the legendary OrientExpress. Attendees immersed themselves in the luxurious experience throughengaging videos, complemented by mock champagne and delightful cakes.
Robbieand Marianne, Wellbeing Leads at Orchard Lodge, coordinatedthe event to foster social connections among residents while providing aneducational and entertaining experience. "Today's activity was aresounding success," remarked Marianne Killen. "Residentsthoroughly enjoyed collecting their train tickets and experiencing the'first-class' ambiance with mock champagne and cakes. It was truly a journey toremember."
